Cyber Monday FREE Sale

 Several have asked how my dad is doing, so here's a quick update. 

As of this writing, my dad is still in the hospital on a ventilator. He seems to be improving, and we are hoping he will be moving to an acute care facility closer to my Mom's house this week. Unfortunately, with Covid, it's anybody's guess as to how things will progress. We are holding on and remain cautiously optimistic. 

Currently, I'm still at my Mom's house about 800 miles from home, While here we've been doing a lot of talking and book planning. One of the things we've decided is that Lynn Nodima and Arwen Chandler will be collaborating on an upcoming space opera book.  The book will contain characters from the Pleiades Adventures (Coerced, Plundered, and Hunted) and The Grewaldy Chronicles (Viper Pit). I am currently in the process of taking notes and getting ready to join the two universes. It's going to be awesome!

If you're not familiar with Viper Pit, you've got to check it out. Mom wrote it when I was still in junior high and it is one of my all-time favorite stories that she's written. (I know most people that love her shifter books, may not know about her science fiction, but it's great!)  Viper Pit is a short read, and not available in KU because it's in an anthology, but it's well worth the 99 cents.

Other Exciting NEWS!

Since I haven't been able to get into any promos for Cyber Monday I decided to do my own. So, I have several books set to free for the next few days. I hope you will have a chance to download them, and maybe fall in love with some new characters. Each storyline has more books to come, and I hope you'll be as excited for the next books as I am.

FREE Book Friday

I don’t normally post much about my family, but today I thought I’d let you into my personal world. A couple of days ago I received a call that my dad was being airlifted to a hospital several hours away from  my parents home. He was having serious complications with covid-19 and double pneumonia.

My mother, the amazing author, Lynn Nodima, (Texas Ranch Wolf Pack Series) was out of quarantine so my husband and I traveled to Oklahoma to be with her for the next few days or weeks. In my haste I forgot my laptop, so I’m borrowing one from her and hope I can get some writing done. However, I may not.

So far, we’ve been busy laughing, telling stories, going through craft patterns, and cooking—everything we can do to keep busy while we worry about dad.

Today, we were able to Facetime Dad with a nurse’s phone. It was wonderful to see him doing so much better. He’s on experimental drugs and they are helping him immensely. The difference between where he was and where he is now is night and day. So, that’s just a little bit of what’s going on here. I hope you are safe, your loved ones are safe, and that you stay well.

Demon Night: A New Adventure For FREE

 

I know you may be thinking, Demon Night isn't new. But, it in fact is. I've spent the last few weeks updating the story, digging deeper into the text, and bringing this story to a newer more glorious life. I can't express how thrilled I am with the results. 

Demon Night is set in New York City and is an urban paranormal work featuring a magician named Demetri Risk, and an exclusive order of magicians. Honestly, I hope the setting drips off the page, so you can experience New York--one of my favorite places!

In honor of this new update, I've set Demon Night for FREE from October 24 to October 26. So, if you're looking for a great read for this year's spooky season get Demon Night. It's sure to please.

Big Things Are Happening

Greetings Tribe: I hope this update finds you well. I’ve been working like crazy and doing a lot of research for my upcoming books. I can’t want to share them with you. I have a list of about eight books with titles that are in the queue and are almost completed, and a few more that have been started. This year, I plan to release books in epic fantasy, space opera, gamelit, and quite possibly a few romance books as well. We might even see something new in urban fantasy, and Gwynn has been calling to me as of late (The Pleiades Adventures). Aside from writing, next month we are taking a family trip to New York City (specifically Broadway), and we are counting the days until our plane leaves. In the center of the image was a man wearing black clothes facing away from them. His red hair coiled at the nape of his neck, as he addressed the man closest to the tent in front of him. WOW! It’s already 2020!

I hope the past few weeks have brought you many blessings, and that your new year will be prosperous and fruitful. This has been an insanely busy week. My parents moved to a new home several hours away, and we have started light remodeling around here. In fact, things are so hectic and turned upside down that I lost my laptop for a few days, and I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to let you know about the newest promotion for 2020! Thankfully, I found it and just in time to put it in my newly renovated office.

And speaking of office, I finally have a place to work again. I haven’t had my own workspace since we moved here in 2016 after my husband had his stroke. (January first marked four years since that day, and this year the first came and left without a hitch.) I am hoping this new office will help inspire me to get some more writing done. I have so many writing plans for this year, and I can’t wait to share them with you, including a new book in the Clans of Arcadia series, and a few other surprises.
